The New Path Pro is Taking Golf by Storm
Kostis and McCord call the Path Pro™ the best new introduction to golf in nearly 20 years.
Chicago, IL (January 3, 2006) – Renowned Top 20 Golf Instructor and CBS Sports Golf Analyst Peter Kostis, and Champions Tour winner, author and fellow CBS Sports Golf Analyst Gary McCord, join Path Pro Golf’s founder and developer Jim Cardosi to introduce a new tool that’s quickly taking the PGA, LPGA and nearly every golf academy in the US by storm. Called the Path Pro, it’s designed to provide an unlimited number of positions and uses, thereby eliminating the need for every other teaching and training aid. By providing nearly 35 swing fixes while focusing on the key fundamentals, it’s a tool that’s equally effective for beginners all the way to touring professionals and one that’s destined to be around a long time. By combining sensory perception, muscle memory and motor learning skills, all at once, users easily reinforce the proper movements and engrain them much quicker. Players instantly see and feel the correct positions, throughout their swing, while physically hitting shots with their own clubs, resulting in immediate and more permanent improvement. Peter Kostis says, “Most people don’t know what the correct swing positions feel like. The Path Pro is the most advanced teaching tool in 20 years because users immediately see AND feel what’s right and what’s wrong in their swing.” Gary McCord adds, “It’s simple and it takes the guesswork out of your swing because you’re forced to swing the club properly every time.”

Already used by over 65 of Golf Digest’s and Golf Magazine's Top 100 Teachers, the Path Pro is finding its way into teacher’s and student’s hands all over the country. It allows for golfers at every skill level to effectively work on their game between lessons, or on their own, with the confidence of knowing that what they are doing on is productive and correct. Company founder Jim Cardosi says, “We’re excited because we feel like the Path Pro rises above the typical gimmicks and gadgets you normally see marketed to golfers. Fundamentals don’t change so with the Path Pro we know we have an equally effective tool today as well as 10 years from now. And, because it addresses literally every swing fault, it’s equally beneficial for everyone who plays the game regardless of their problem.”

Path Pro Golf is going a step further by initiating discussions with representatives from the PGA Tour and the 1 Tee Organization to put together a program that will benefit nearly every 1 Tee Chapter in the US by providing Path Pros for use by their kids, “I don’t endorse training aids but when I saw the Path Pro and experienced it’s effectiveness by quickly forcing students to properly learn the fundamentals, I had to get involved,” says Jim David, Director of the 1 Tee Chapter in Aurora, IL.
Peter Kostis and Gary McCord show us just 2 of the over 35 different positions
Kostis and McCord teamed up with Path Pro Golf to launch their infomercial and 60 second spot campaign in October ‘05. Seen primarily on The Golf Channel, they are planning an aggressive schedule for the ’06 season. In addition, golf retailers, specialty stores and pro shops, nationwide, have quickly recognized the potential and moved to stock the product.

Path Pro features include:

SPD Technology: The "Swing Performance Technology," featuring the adjustable SPD dial, enables for consistently positioning the swing arm, locking it in place and recording the settings for repeatable performance with every use. Users are able to reset the Path Pro in the exact same positions, enabling you to continue where you left off with a prior use, eliminating wasted time and accelerating improvement.

P.A.D. Design: The unique P.A.D. design provides an unlimited number of positions enabling the user to immediately engrain the right path and / or position at every point in the swing leading to improved Power, Accuracy and Distance. Being able to see, feel and repeat the correct swing, is what allows immediate improvement. Furthermore, by following the yellow path pad, and swinging through the impact zone, more solid contact is made with a squarer clubface leading to longer and straighter shots. In addition, with it’s unique swivel design, the Path Pro works for right-handers and left-handers alike.

Portable Stability: The weighted, portable base provides stability on any surface and in any conditions, including winds up to 50 MPH. This leads to easy maneuverability when working in any of the positions. Its swivel design easily allows for the arm to spin out of your way if it happens to accidentally get struck. At under six pounds, the Path Pro easily moves with you from your back yard to the practice range. The entire unit folds and fits easily into the Path Pro nylon tote bag. With no assembly needed, you just stand it up, adjust the arm and swing away.

Ease of Use: The Path Pro is so simple because you identify the swing flaw you want to fix in the pocket reference guide, or on the Basic Uses DVD provided, adjust the arm accordingly and hit shots. You'll see immediate improvement because you’re able to see and feel where the club should be in order to hit correct shots.

Over-Swing Extension: The over-swing extension, when added, allows you to feel where, at the top, you should stop your backswing. This eliminates the disconnection that results from over-swinging. In addition, it can also be used to insure a complete and proper shoulder turn, as well as, consistent head position and spine angle.

Unlimited Uses: With an unlimited number of positions and uses, the Path Pro’s versatility virtually eliminates the need for any other teaching or training aid.
